Government Contracts Administrator - PT

Position Overview

Job Overview:WTI is seeking a detail-oriented Government Contracts Administrator to manage the day-to-day administration of federal government contracts and contract vehicles. This position supports contract compliance, proposal preparation, task order administration, subcontract management, and customer communications while ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), agency requirements, and company policies. The ideal candidate has experience supporting small government contractors and is comfortable working independently across multiple contract types, including IDIQs, GWACs, BPAs, GSA Schedules, and task orders.

Responsibilities:

Contract Administration:
  • Administer federal government contracts throughout the contract lifecycle from award through closeout.
  • Review solicitations, task orders, modifications, and contract documents for compliance and risk.
  • Coordinate contract execution with Program Managers, Finance, Human Resources, and Business Development.
  • Maintain complete electronic contract files and documentation.
  • Track contract periods of performance, option years, funding modifications, and key deliverables.
  • Monitor contract reporting requirements and ensure timely submissions.
  • Prepare and administer subcontract agreements.
  • Coordinate subcontractor onboarding documentation.
  • Track subcontractor deliverables and compliance.
  • Assist with subcontract modifications and closeouts.
  • Prepare monthly contract status reports.
  • Track contract funding and modifications
  • Monitor contract deliverables and milestones

Contract Vehicle Management:
  • Support administration of Government contract vehicles including:
    • NASA SEWP VI
    • GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS)
    • OASIS
    • CIO-SP4/CIO-SP3
    • Other IDIQ and BPA vehicles
    • Maintain contract catalogs, pricing, labor categories, and required certifications.
    • Coordinate onboarding activities for new contract vehicles.

Proposal and Business Development Support:
  • Review Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quote (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Prepare contractual sections of proposals.
  • Assist with representations and certifications.
  • Coordinate teaming agreements, NDAs, and subcontractor documentation.
  • Support proposal compliance reviews.

Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with:
    • Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
    • Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
    • Agency-specific requirements
    • Small business regulations
    • Contract reporting requirements
    • Corporate policies
  • Monitor SAM.gov registrations, certifications, and contract-related registrations.
  • Coordinate required contractual reporting and documentation.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience administering federal government contracts.
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
  • Experience with fixed-price, T&M, labor-hour, and cost-reimbursement contracts.
  • Strong Experience with small business federal contractors.
  • Experience administering GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, or GSA Schedules.
  • Familiarity with NASA SEWP, OASIS, or similar federal contract vehicles.
  • Knowledge of SAM.gov, SBA certifications, and subcontract management.
  • Strong organizational and document management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Preferred but not required associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Contracts Management, Legal Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Preferred but not required experience with Unanet, SharePoint, or contract management software.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a small business environment.

Benefits:
  • Salary Range:$40-$60 per hour commensurate with experience, qualifications, certifications, location and contract requirements.
