Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Staff Officer to support Air Combat Command (ACC). at Langley Air Force Base. This role involves providing critical support in policy development, strategic planning, resource management, and operational support to enhance the effectiveness and readiness at Air Combat Command (ACC).

Responsibilities:

  • Policy Development and Implementation: Assist in developing and implementing policies related to data management and operations within ACC.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic planning efforts to align data management goals with ACC’s mission objectives.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources including personnel, budget, and equipment to support data management initiatives.
  • Operational Support: Coordinate logistics, communications, and intelligence support to ensure seamless operations within ACC.
  • Advisory Role: Provide expert advice and recommendations to ACC on data management strategies and operational enhancements.
  • Interagency Coordination: Collaborate with other military branches, government agencies, and international partners to support joint data management efforts.
  • Training and Development: Oversee training programs and professional development initiatives to enhance data management capabilities within ACC.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Conduct analysis, prepare reports, and provide assessments on data management effectiveness and operational readiness.
  • Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to USAF and ACC policies, regulations, and directives related to data management and security.
  • Strategic Communication: Develop and execute communications strategies and prepare content to enhance collaboration and support to data management efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Information Technology, Management, Military Studies) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in military operations, data management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Air Force operations and familiarity with ACC policies and procedures is a plus.
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing operational requirements.
