Responsibilities and Qualifications:

As the Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role for NASA in conducting research and analysis and be responsible for collaborating across military, government, and industry. Your expertise in GEOINT capabilities, posture, and operations, coupled with your ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, will be essential in gathering data and fostering cooperation to identify future challenges and opportunities, develop warfighting concepts, and comprehensively explore options to inform the combat development process and meet the challenges of future operating environments. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to the development of forward-thinking solutions that address complex challenges. This effort shall enhance the ability of NASA to identify, develop, deliver, and maintain innovative capabilities to support the Enterprise Geospatial Support Services (EGSS) contract.

Directly manages program scope, schedule, technical performance, and cost/budget. Develops, maintains, and reports on project plans and schedules; mentors technical staff and fosters good working environments through knowledgeable, effective, hands-on technical and management oversight and support; demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies and tools; ability to plan, organize and manage project schedules, tasks, and deliverables; outstanding written and oral communication skills. Serves as the company’s primary contract representative with the government’s Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). Assesses staffing needs and identifies shortfalls; demonstrates strong leadership and interpersonal skills and shows a clear commitment to mentoring subordinates; maintains excellent customer relations.

  • 10+ years of GIS-related experience
  • 5+ years of relevant, practical experience managing geospatial programs and teams
  • Must have demonstrated capability applying industry standard project management methodologies and tools
